When you went to a specific spot at the Mission, it was informative and explained it very well. It was very eye-catching and to get specific the Old Church Building was so fascinating to see how it’s still standing to this day. It’s amazing to learn about how it embraces the Mission’s multicultural history. Seeing all the old buildings, artifacts, and art the Mission had was extraordinary. I learned so much about the history it held. The Mission San Juan Capistrano overall was sightful and full of history. The little knickknacks and beautiful handmade crafts were cool. Right near the entrance, there was a citrus tree, it had a little basket where you could grab the fresh oranges from. It was informative but I definitely would suggest having some other type of device because the remote had very low volume. I chose the audio tour and the maps they provide guide you on where to start all to where you should end. The worker asks if you want a guided tour or an audio tour. With the stamp, you can re-enter which I found super cool. Once you get to the mission, there’s the admission fee, and you get stamped before you enter. Cute little shops and antiques and the food places are to die for! The parking was not too bad, ad you can either park within the parking lots the shops provide or find parking on the street. You first enter this spectacular town full of shops and diners. Since I’ve seen all the historical sites in my area, my family and I decided to visit Mission San Juan Capistrano as it was something new and exciting for us to try. I had to choose one historical site in San Diego for a History project.
